IMPPA President Abhay Sinha Visits Marwah Studios

During his visit, he met with Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University and President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), who is an internationally acclaimed media personality.
The meeting between the two leaders was highly productive, focusing on ways to enhance the value and activities of the film, television, and media industries in India. They also discussed strengthening the relationship between the Indian media industry and its foreign counterparts. Dr Sandeep Marwah briefed Abhay Sinha with the activities and organizations of Marwah Studios in detail.
In recognition of Abhay Sinha’s deep involvement and contributions to the film industry, Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented him with the life membership of the International Film and Television Club of Marwah Studios.
“1937 was the year that saw the fulfillment of a beautiful dream for the Indian Film Industry. This was the year when IMPPA was born,” said Abhay Sinha. “The Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association, popularly known as IMPPA, is the first and only internationally recognized oldest association of the Indian film production sector. It is the original mother organization, and all other associations which exist now are the offshoots of IMPPA.”
Abhay Sinha’s visit to Marwah Studios marks a significant step towards further collaboration and growth within the film and media sectors, both domestically and internationally.

ICMEI Congratulates the United States on Independence Day
New York, 4th July 2024: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), led by its President, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, extends heartfelt congratulations to H.E. Eric Garcetti, the Ambassador of the United States to India, and the people of the United States on their Independence Day. ICMEI President Sandeep Marwah Congratulates Somalia on Independence Day
New Delhi, 1st July 2024: Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency Ahmed Ali Dahir, Ambassador of Somalia, and the people of Somalia on the occasion of their Independence Day.
In a message of goodwill, Mr. Marwah acknowledged the historical significance of this day for the Somali people, marking 64 years since Somalia gained independence from colonial rule on 1st July 1960. He praised the resilience, unity, and determination of the Somali people in their ongoing journey towards peace and development.
“On behalf of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, I extend my warmest congratulations to His Excellency Ahmed Ali Dahir and the people of Somalia on this momentous occasion of their Independence Day. Sandeep Marwah Inaugurates International Awards Meet 2024
New Delhi, 30th June 2024 – The prestigious International Awards Meet 2024 took place with great success at the Crown Plaza, Delhi, on the 30th of June. Organized by IEMS and Brandsman India, this event celebrated exceptional achievements and contributions across various fields.
Sandeep Marwah, a nine-time World Record Holder, President of Marwah Studios, and Chancellor of AAFT University, inaugurated the meet. He encouraged all awardees to elevate their work and professions, aiming to place India on the highest global platform. He emphasized the importance of striving for excellence and innovation.

Inauguration of Indo Azerbaijan Cultural Forum Chapter in Baku

Baku: : The city of Baku witnessed a significant cultural milestone with the inauguration of the Indo Azerbaijan Cultural Forum Chapter, under the auspices of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI). In a statement during the launch, ICMEI President Dr. Sandeep Marwah highlighted the transformative power of art and culture, emphasizing their role in shaping opinions, instilling values, and bridging experiences across time and space.
The event marked the beginning of a new cultural exchange and collaboration era between India and Azerbaijan. Dr. Marwah expressed his enthusiasm, “Art & Culture influence society by changing opinions, instilling values, and translating experiences across space and time.”
Manish Shah of Walkabout Group MMC Baku has been appointed as the Honorary President of this Chapter. In his acceptance speech, Shah expressed his commitment to the Chapter’s growth and promotion, stating, “I am pleased to take on this responsibility and, with Dr. Marwah’s guidance, I am confident we will establish a remarkable presence in a short period.”
The launch event saw the presence of prominent figures such as Ziya Agha, Oksana Rasulova, Olga Eremina, Shalala Rustamova, Srujana Chandra, Shirinova Iilama, Sevinj Jalilova, Srinivas Rao Chandra, Rauf Shakhaliyev, among others. During the inaugural meeting, several key programs aimed at fostering closer ties between India and Azerbaijan were discussed and finalized. These include: A visit to India by a group of Azerbaijani women. An Azerbaijani theatre show in New Delhi. The presentation of an AAFT scholarship to a deserving student from Azerbaijan. An Indian Film Festival in Baku.
The event concluded with Dr. Sandeep Marwah being honored by the Art and Culture Fraternity of Azerbaijan for his outstanding contributions to the field. The special get-together served as a celebration of this new chapter in cultural cooperation and mutual appreciation.
